I attended the area forest with my mountain bike earlier this week and believing that given it was such a sunny day, an awful lot of other people may have taken their mountain bike out for one ride around too. I had been wrong. I got there and rode around on my bike for a short time and thought it felt quite eerie there was me on my cycle without the next person around. I’m wrong again.
I personally enjoyed the first 30 minutes, thrashing around until I hit a bump and flew off my mountain bikes, hitting a tree in the process and hurting my shoulder. My bike was fine, not damaged in any way, therefore i returned to check exactly what the bump was. Choosing my mountain bike and walking back in where I fell, I saw that what I’d hit what looked like there was a black bag with something in it. I dropped my bike and opened the bag. Inside would have been a rotting corpse.
I got back up and rode to the nearest opening in the woods and rang the police. The police turned up and I rode my mountain bike back over to where the maggot infested body was and then made another gruesome discovery. As the policeman pulled open the bag I realised that the body was my friend and fellow mountain bike enthusiast Leroy. I wondered what had happened to Leroy, whether he had been killed then dumped or whether he had tried some ridiculous trick on his bike, whilst inside a black bag, either way he was dead and looking pretty rank.
After Leroy was reclaimed for forensics and stuff, and I had made a statement, We obtained back on my cycle and continued to ride for a few more hours. It had been starting to get dark causing all of this mtb riding was wearing me out. I slowly rode my mtb right at the end within the woods, outside the car parking, by using your intension of sticking my mtb around the rack of my car and driving home for tea and also to tell my family about finding my best mate and fellow mountain bike lover dead inside a black bag inside the woods.
When i approached the automobile park, I stopped suddenly when i heard loud screaming. I turned and saw people during the distance and quickly rode over to see precisely what the commotion was. It turned out a significant group of men and my partner, doing unmentionable things. I decided from that point onwards, I’d never ride my bike during the woods ever again.

Being a dedicated rider used to mean wearing form-fitting outfits and taking long weekend excursions on the ten-speed. Biking today has a different character, however, because many urban residents are riding to their jobs as a money-saving and practical alternative to the automobile. For this newer group of regular riders, maintenance has become especially important, and many are doing the necessary repairs at home. At what point should you buy a mountain bike work stand?
Having repairs done at the bicycle shop is easy and convenient. It may be the sensible choice for those who are mechanically challenged or lack the right tools. Others, however, want to keep this expense to a minimum by doing it themselves. Repairs that seem relatively simple and straightforward in the shop, however, can become difficult and cumbersome without good support.
When compared to a traditional ten-speed, a so-called mountain bicycle in general has fatter tires and a sturdier frame. Professional mechanics need a strong and sturdy repair frame in order to work efficiently, and so do home enthusiasts. Rock-solid stability during repairs makes any job easier. Nothing is more maddening than attempting to repair a bicycle that keeps falling over or moving away, usually skinning some knuckles in the process.
Good bicycle maintenance frames come in several grades and price ranges, and the more costly models are often the most stable. Prices in general range from under $100 to $300 or more. For many riding enthusiasts, the portable models are not only convenient, but are necessary for easy of storage and handling. A non-portable model has the advantage of added weight and stability.
A high-quality maintenance frame should also have a professional-quality clamp that will securely fit any size of frame tubing. These models are bulkier than ten-speeds, and a good quick-release type of clamp is important. A properly secured machine makes even the most daunting repairs seem a little simpler and a lot less stressful. Sturdy frame support eliminates the frustration that is inevitable when attempting to make repairs with one hand, while the other holds the vehicle steady.
Even a simple task like cleaning up after an excursion is frustrating without proper support. Scrubbing the caked-on mud and grime from hard-to-reach places can be time consuming and inefficient unless the bicycle easily accessed, generally in an upside-down position. Cleaning up in that position is a snap, and keeps the cycle looking fresh even when it is well-used.
For repairs at home, should you buy a mountain bike work stand? The savings and convenience alone are enough to recommend one. A few months of doing your own simple maintenance will easily pay for the initial investment, and there is no more need to awkwardly wheel an ailing vehicle to the shop. It means you do repairs at your own convenience, knowing that you are contributing to higher air quality by riding instead of driving.
